Mortiz has unrequitted love for Monore (cpatina tells Gedion some imporant lore about Mortiz in a tent scene -oneshot)

 I entered his Tent at the Edge of the Green, behind the brush, at the parks edge. Candy told me not to bother Cap’ while he was drinking, especially after an especially bad sweep like tonight, but I was surprised to find him scribbling away at his months old, wet and tattered composition notebook, hands trembling trying not to knock over the floodlight propped up on the pile of old clothes, and cigarette packs, like a soldier scribbling his final adress by canlde light, though he was, in evry sense. The inkless ballpoint pen kept scratched short of ink, he frustratngly shook it.

“Dont just stand there, and what did I tell you about do you want close the flap your letting the rain in” I settled down Indain style in front of him, hastily tying down the tent flap behind me -even as it seemed ready to fly open at any time, bustering letting in rain at the seams as the deluge decided to come pouring down, soaking up the grass, and think blankets barley pretcting our asses, raining down on what’s left of the rest of them trying to rebuild what wasnt ravaged in the raid. I sat down face to face with his gruff, worn face, like he’d seen a thousand wars all just days and night for him now, inteimadting but also comoftring I needed his wisdom now more then ever. Thinking of those first weary days Monore told story’s, them surviving on streets together, all the history they had, Monroe hadent spoken of to me, all remnants of his all to real, reality he wanted nothing but to escape from
